Helping to look after your best friends
Paws at The Moors is a unique pet services provider set within six acres of countryside on the edge of Kegworth. Within the grounds, we have a purpose built secure playpen as well as an indoor enrichment and relaxation area.
At Paws at The Moors, we understand that your dog or cat is an important member of your family, and we aim to ensure they are given the best care at times when you might not be available to. This is why we offer services ranging from home stays, day care, walks and pop ins, tailored to suit the needs of you and your furry friend.
At Paws at The Moors, we offer a range of activities to keep your pups happy. Providing your dog with enrichment activities which can improve their wellbeing – this is really important to us! Enrichment comes in many forms, and we want to provide them on a daily basis. At Paws at The Moors, we consider physical, social and intellectual enrichment as our priority.
Physical: We aim to provide your dog with the opportunity for physical exercise, we have a purpose built play area which provides opportunities to climb, run and play. Digging is another important and fun part of our enrichment opportunities. Our purpose built sand pit area allows pups to dig and explore as well as providing great opportunities for learning.
Cognitive: Learning is important for our pups, it engages their brain and prevents boredom, it also boosts confidence and builds great rapport between the dog and the facilitator. Paws at The Moors provides plenty of opportunities for scent work, puzzles as well as rewarding positive behaviours.
Social: We offer a safe space for your dog to make new friends and interact without fear. Experiencing other dogs and environments will support your dog to have good social skills and grow in confidence in their day to day life.
Finally, we think it’s really important that your dog has the opportunity to relax, this might be by having a sleep or by chewing on bones, antlers or toys. We offer individual safe spaces to relax and recharge, ready for more fun!
